Saturday, February 24th marked our first health fair of 2018! The turnout was great! Knowledge is key when it comes to making important decisions about your health. And we were excited to educate our Crown Point neighbors on the symptoms of vein disease and the available treatments.
Unsightly varicose veins are often addressed, as we all want to look and feel our best during the warmer months. However, many symptoms of vein disease such as tired/heavy legs, or leg pain and swelling are overlooked as being common signs of aging or the outcome of a long, hard workday. Vein disease is progressive, and although there is no cure, it is highly treatable. Our goal is to educate our community on the various symptoms of vein disease and share the minimally invasive treatments currently performed at Centers for Vein Care that can improve your health and quality of life.
Interested in attending an upcoming event? Look to our event calendar to find a location and date that works best for you. We invite you to join us at one of these upcoming health fairs:
Thursday, March 29th; 11 am-3 pm at our Crown Point Center
Thursday, March 29th; 6 pm-8 pm at our La Porte Center
Thursday, April 26th; 6 pm-8 pm at our Munster Center
Whether you’re currently experiencing new symptoms, have symptoms from previously, failed treatments, or just have questions—our health fairs are a good starting point. Our free vein ultrasound provides an initial assessment of your risk for vein disease. Personal consult with our doctor to go over the results, ask questions, and discuss treatment allows you to make an informed decision about your health care.
