Aching and Painful Legs

There are a lot of things that can cause leg pain. Nerves from the back go down the leg and can get irritated in the low back or anywhere down the leg. This often causes a sharp, shooting pain along the path of the nerve. These nerve problems can happen with or without prior injuries and can even happen after seemingly minor problems like a cut or fracture.

Vein disease can also cause pain. This pain is often more vague. It can be generally around the whole leg, just over some bulging veins, or in specific areas like the calf region. Often times people just describe it as general aching.

Whatever the cause, the symptoms usually make life a lot harder. There are simple tests we can do to narrow down the cause such as an ultrasound or MRI. After that we can go over simple treatment options to start with like physical therapy or lifestyle changes. If those aren’t enough we offer a wide variety of treatments for back and vein problems.
